All school rules promulgated in the student handbook about absences apply.
All assignments and class agendas are posted on this website. Students are expected to consult the website for the assignments. Absence is not a valid excuse for missing assignments.
Because of the intense pace and demanding workload of AP courses, extended absences for college visits, vacations, or similar non-essential activities will place you at a disadvantage. Absences for medical purposes or family crises will be handled on a case by case basis.
If you miss a daily question, you can only make it up online. Beginning 10/31/11, the daily questions for the week will be posted on a page on this wiki. You must log in, go to the page, and answer the question you missed by answering in the comments section. Consult the student handbook for the "grace period" you have to make up missed work due to absence. Answers that are submitted after the deadline may not receive credit. Unidentifiable posts may not receive credit. The questions posted on the website may not be the same question posed in class. The daily question will be posted here.
Getting the daily question from a classmate without seeing Mr. Mullen is unacceptable. That answer will not receive credit and will not be eligible for make up.
A makeup quiz may not be the same version as the one administered in class.
Mr Mullen reserves the right to accept, refuse or penalize late assignments within the guidelines set down in the student handbook.
