Submission Guidelines

The preferred method for submitting written work is to share a Google docs document with mullen335@gmail.com.

Your own gmail account is strongly recommended.

Shared Google docs...

  • get the fastest and most actionable feedback, often in real time
  • are easily converted to Word and other formats
  • create a record of submission dates, obviating disputes over missed assignments 

 

 

Email

Follow these guidelines whenever you submit written work via email. Improperly-formatted and incorrectly-addressed work may be returned to the sender ungraded.

 

  • All documents must be double spaced.

  • Exotic or unreadable fonts may be rejected. Use a standard font.

  • All documents must contain the author's name at the beginning.

Preferred

Rich Text Format (.rtf)

 

Acceptable

  • MS Word 97-2003 (.doc)
  • Open Office

 

Unacceptable-- delays in processing will occur

  • Word 2007 (.docx)     (convert to .rtf)
  • Word Perfect (.wps)   (convert to .rtf)
  • PDF (editing delays may occur)
