Essay 3: The Photo Essay

Mode: Informative, Entertaining 

The Situation: 

We are going to use Photo Story to create an entertaining and informative photo essay. A photo essay integrates pictures, music, text and spoken words to tell a story and teach new things. 

The Purpose:

Our purpose is to entertain and / or inform the audience about an interesting topic. 

The Audience:

Your classmates, your friends, your family

The Methods:

Photos, music, sounds, text, spoken word-- all integrated into Photo Story

Requirements:

• Your photo essay should contain at least three (3) pictures. (30)
• You narrate your photo essay. You should say something about each picture. (60)
• Your photo essay has some music or sounds. (5)
• Your photo essay can have text: labels, captions, or blurbs.(5)

• A vacation or trip you recently took
• Your favorite band or singer
• Your favorite book, movie or TV show
• An adventure
• Your favorite place
• Your job
• Your family
• Your school
• Your hobbies and interests
• Your collections
• Your pet(s)
• Your talent(s)
